A munch of mulch

(or: a herber's recipe for a remedy for recompense)

With a munch of mulch and a yank of yeast
  is how today we'll start our feast.
And for a meadow of mallow and a tuft of tang,
  you'll have more than just a little bang.
Then a win of whist and a piece of Tamy's licorice twist,
  just ask her nicely—— you'll get the gist.
And an ill of of indigo and a skart of scarn,
  but not the ones from the barn!
Then last a swivle of sward and a tousle of thistle,
  then in a fortnight, you'll be all the fizzle.
